Andreea Dumitru Parcalaboiu

A graduate of Law School in Bucharest, Romania, she worked as a Counselor at Law at one of the largest import export companies in Romania, performing due diligence on asset purchase transactions, financial lease agreements, privatizations, mergers and acquisitions. She was posting summonses, representing clients in court and collecting company's debts through court orders.

Shortly after moving to New York in 1998, she was employed by one of the famous consulting and marketing companies in the financial district on Wall Street. As Vice President for Operations she was supervising primarily all phases of the trade and promotion activities, marketing programs, committee guidance. Instrumental in developing new leads and introducing prospective clients to services provided by the company. She was responsible for full-charge bookkeeping functions for company's accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and payroll tax returns.

Since April 1999 she was the Assistant Editor of the largest Romanian - American weekly publication in the United States, responsible for public relations, advertising clients and promotion. She authored a column focusing primarily on immigration issues and wrote a minimum of two articles weekly.

Andreea Dumitru Parcalaboiu is currently enrolled in the LLM Program on General Studies at the Cardozo Law School, Yeshiva University in New York. As of January 2004 she is the president of ALDP & Associates, an organization that deals primarily with legal writing, large case management, with incorporations (profit/non profit) and dissolutions, mandates/power of attorney with US Department of State apostil and notarized translations for the Romanian community. Areas of knowledge include but are not limited to immigration law, civil law, tort law, bankruptcy, and business law.
